4. You must splice the powering wire from the modulator uniting it with the proper wire from the vehicle.
5. Connecting the grounding wire of the modulator to the proper place in the vehicle.
6. To connect the MP3 player or iPod to the modulator there will need to be a place for the audio cable to come out from (possibly a hole in the glove compartment) and connect to your audio source.
7. You'll need to put all the wires back together from the car stereo.
8. You'll need to reassemble the dash.
Whether you do this on your own or have a professional do it, you will be spending extra time and money on the installation. Imagine spending the better part of a Saturday getting your modulator installed, only to find out a few days later that it is not working properly.
